Car Accident No Insurance

There is a one in seven chance that a motorist will be involved in a car accident with another motorist who has no insurance. When the uninsured motorist is at fault this can create a very tough situation for everyone involved in the car accident. No insurance is a violation of state law in many states. The uninsured motorist will face heavy fines and or possibly lose their privilege to operate a motor vehicle. Unless the other driver has uninsured motorist coverage or no-fault coverage, they will be forced to sue the driver with no insurance in order to be compensated for their injuries and or damages. The flaw in this avenue of compensation is that even if the claimant wins their lawsuit this doesn't insure they will receive the compensation. If the uninsured motorist doesn't have the means to pay the claimant, the claimant is still stuck with having to pay their own medical and or repair costs.
