Driver Involved In Fatal Collision Placed Into Jail

Washington State Patrol Troopers booked 32 year old Luis O. Dominguez into the Whitman County Jail after he was released from a Spokane area hospital. Dominguez was booked on two counts of vehicular homicide in connection with an early morning crash that occurred on State Route 195 south of Pullman.

Dominguez had been flown to Spokane for further treatment and had been guarded by a WSP trooper up until his release. WSP detectives continue to investigate this collision were speed and alcohol played a role in the deaths of 24 year old Fredi Perez-Araujo and 25 year old Ramon F. Soto-Soto both of Clarkston Washington.

Blood samples have been sent to the WSP toxicology laboratory for analysis. It is still unclear if any of the vehicles occupants were wearing their seat belts at the time of the collision.
